  1. Figure out where you want to go
  2. Identify barriers that get in the way
  3. Break it down to a small step that you can take forward 

How to stop negative self-talk: 

  • Identify when and where it’s happening: How often does it happen, how long does it last, what does it sound like? 
  • Understand where negative self-talk has infiltrated your mind.
  • Dispel the negative thoughts by talking to a friend about them.
